Ask a Traditional Catholic

Do you partake in self-flagellation? Are you aware God can see you do that? Are you worried your palms will get hairy?

I encountered the SSPX in my late teens having previously been a post-concillar Catholic. After learning more about the theology and history of the Catholic Faith it became clear to me the SSPX had very valid concerns about the activities of the post concillar church.

As for self-flagellation no, most of the laity do not do that.

This is a very complicated subject but in short

1. Vatican II was not a valid council of the Catholic Church. None of the prayers and invocations to the Holy Spirit used in all others prior were preformed, Vatican II teaches several heresies and heresy cannot be a teaching of the Catholic Church which contradicts what came before. When oppressed by heretics Catholics are obliged to resist

2. Popes and Bishops can be heretics, all they can't do is teach heresy infallibly. There are several episodes in history such as Paul vs Peter where Catholics have been forced to correct the pontiff on his own personal (non teaching) opinions.

I don't think stoning is quite needed, but for the unrepentant something must be done.

Centuries ago we could just lock them up, but now there's so many an example must be set publically. I'm more for castration first, and then some more humane form of execution like beheading for the persistent.

Why are you so concerned with making sure others follow your version of morality?

I cannot take you seriously as a human being if you are seriously recommending murdering people for not believing the same thing you do. You have to be a Poe.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

If god isn't cool with penises going inside buttholes, how do you think he'd feel about cutting penises off of his creation? Follow up: How can you be sure?

If I was a sculpture, and you cut the penis off I my David, I'd be fighting mad and take steps towards suing your ass. And that's just some non-living stone.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Castrating homosexuals? Luckily, I don't see traditional Catholics ever getting any political power.

How do you feel about the Catholics who follow Vatican II? Are they real Catholics?

Don't women cover their hair in traditional Catholic mass? Do you think that women are treated differently in traditional Catholicism compared to how they are treated under Vatican II?

We believe that it has been proven by the actions of Christ and the many miracles that have been demonstrated through the lives of the saints of the Roman Catholic Church. From Christs' ressurection to the apperance of the Blessed Mother of God at Fatima and the Miracle of the Sun one hundred years ago.
