For real. What you're proposing is so ridiculous there's only mocking it left as a response. This kind of thinking is extremely dangerous if taken seriously. Please refer to the WWII chapter in your history textbook.

What utterly disgusts me about that "they're all the same" argument is the fact that we had that before. You just have to replace the social group to hate for whatever reason and you're back in the good old 30ies and 40ies of the last century.

What are those videos supposed to prove? Are you really trying to argue that *all* - 100% - muslims are murderers and rapists?

Couldn't this letter to the parents be viewed as an insult to the refugees? By writing the letter they are making certain assumptions and basically saying "Arabs can't handle themselves around our women". Many Arabs are quite liberal and progressive but they are held back by their governments.
Perhaps many of the refugees are liberal people trying to escape the Fascist Waahabi culture spreading across Arabia? Need I remind people that not all Arabs are Sunni? Percentages vary greatly by country but after Egypt, Syria/Lebanon have the biggest numbers of Christians, and then you've also go Yazidis and the Shiites. Ismaelies, a branch of Shia are quite progressive, I've heard.
Edit: I think my numbers were a bit off.

Yes, absolutely. My proposal to simply give them a quick friendly crash course with some guidelines concerning culture and behaviour would actually be more equivalent to taking them seriously as human beings. I must say though that I know nothing about this case, and they may very well have been doing that.
