And how much do you think the average Catholic priest is paid annually? Did anybody read me post a word about Catholic priest? Nor was the post I was responding to talking about Catholic priests. Anyway, now that gay marriage is legal, they won't need wives, they can stick to boys.
You say one more word to me about Catholic priests, and I will say something about them and their mamas that will leave you in the confessional for a week.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I think it varies from person to person. I'm not saying that people never deconvert for emotional or bad reasons, I'm just pointing out that it's a fairly common christian refrain to assert that the reasons individual atheists believe as they do are those emotional or bad reasons, when they don't have a good justification for doing so.

Again, I don't doubt there are people deconverting for bad reasons. I just don't think the people here are in that group, nor that the existence of that group is at all informing your accusations; you certainly didn't hesitate to accuse me of being angry with god, and I never had anything to deconvert from in the first place.

Jesus loves the little children. Especially the little boys. So if Catholic priests stand in person of Christ then it is Christ fucking those little boys. That's Jesus who said make the little children suffer when they come unto me. Just like his father in Heaven gave fathers on Earth instructions on how to sell their daughters into sexual slavery. Yes they all work for the same company.
