I worked under a Jewish manager (whose Jewish family owned the store) back in 2013. He was a really cool guy though. To be honest we were always too busy to get into any philosophical discussions about religion, but he didn't seem like the type to force his opinions down on you.

Although one day he got on my nerves. In real life I'm not one of those gays who walks into every situation giving very much Julian Clary Ts, not hiding it, but not putting on a show for you. I actually tend to wait until something gay-themed comes up in conversation to talk about it, or until people ask. Therefore I don't appreciate being asked "Did you meet any nice hot guys last night?" in a camp voice in front of the pre-dominantly Muslim clientele thanks. And then he proceeded to wonder why I gave him a "wtf" look and questioned me about it, again in front of the customers.

Hak is still alive and arguably more powerful than her husband ever was, she doesn't rear her head very often since her husband damaged the Church's reputation in the western world during the 80's but she inherited almost all of Moons business empire and owns several American media outlets like Washington Post. Several Korean premiers have been members of the Unification Church and Moon and Hak have been known to order their members to campaign politically for their favored candidates in different countries, they actually got in big trouble for this in the US when they ordered their minions at their peak of membership to campaign for and vote for Ronald Regan.

Sorry, sidetrack there Tongue  Couldn't resist, I find them fascinating considering their dramatic claims and incredible success story. The Unification Church is essentially the tool Moon used to create a colossal business empire building everything from TV's to guns, and it's still expanding thanks to his believers.


I've heard there was a brownout in Hell when Rev. Moon passed away a few years ago.  Getting enough heat to appropriately roast him was a real challenge for
Satan, and for several days, billions of the damned had to make do with less than infinite torment until the demons were able to stoke the fires sufficiently to meet the demand.

Even Hell has energy problems . . .

I work in a health food store which is quite liberal. I doubt anyone there is particularly religious xD

Oh boy, don't even get me started!!!   I have had a few real loonies.  One fired me because I kept refusing to answer his questions about what I believed.  Another was a youth pastor who referred to her weekends (and some evenings) at her church as "GOD duty".  I simply refuse to engage with them.  And as I said in my introduction - I'm a musician. For ages, I have had to play organ for Catholic churches to pay the bills.  (One of the best ways to create an Atheist - make them listen to 4 sermons every weekend.)  But you're really careful to keep your mouth closed, your head down, and your Facebook posts generic in these situations!  I'm delighted to report that I have found gainful employment, and I see no crosses, Bibles, or devotional artworks in my co-workers cubicles. I think I am finally free - I will even quit the church job in a few months!    Big Grin

Gay, straight, meeting men, meeting women.. there is a time and place for that kind of talk and in front of clients is totally not the time and place for that... smh

This could actually be alot of fun for you if your like me and enjoy fucking with and antagonising people. What you need to do is use a firm but non hostile approach when they inevitably try to convert you. Give them good solid reasons as to why you don't believe and why you think Christianity is crap. Be firm and stand up for yourself.without remorse but don't get hostile as you have to work with these people.
Here are some ways it will likely end. You lie and pretend your a Christian in which case people will on some level sense your lying and you will be somewhat alienated.
You are honest and take my advice. They will eventually stop bugging you especially after you eventually strike a nerve and get a message thtough. Though they will always keep you at arms length.
Or you are openly hostile. Not recommended ad this will make enemies and get you fired quick

as of yet, no one has tried to convert me but I do think I know how I'll respond if approached with that, and that will be with telling them what I believe, more specifically, don't believe and do it as you said... in a non hostile, non attacking manner...
