Imagine you're moving to a new town and you tell your ex-wife or mother "I'm moving to a town named "Dildo"". Intercourse, PA is definitely real... thats by Amish country.. its also not far from Lititz, PA lol

I thought the Amish was a crazy retarded community that existed in times when cars had only 1 horse power and after that they probably have died out. Oh they still exist.. I went a couple of years ago and remember driving by as they are on the shoulder with their horse and buggy... their numbers i think are declining (who could resist iphones and flat screen tv's with PS4's lol) but they are trying to maintain their crazy retarted community... I have a couple of customers who are amish which is annoying cause they don't email... i have to call a community phone or dial their "shanty" phone line in hopes one is near enough to pick up if i need to talk to them... on another note, they're finding loopholes left and right to use modern tech... they have their phones in shanty's now (which before you couldnt have a phone) they're taking busses to trade shows, half of the menonites drive and have electricity.. its almost a joke at this point.. They have a freaking TV show for CHRISTS sake! lol they're not allowed to be photographed but their on TV!?! and now that i've mentioned menonites, lets throw in a Hitchens joke... Why did the amish girl get shunned from the community... 2 menonite... lol

I think this is pretty cool street name. I've driven past it many times.
It's also an unincorporated town. Accident, Maryland - Okay, Oklahoma - Hot Coffee, Missouri. I also remember seeing an episode of Jackass where they were in Mianus, CT and they were saying things like, "There's so much to do in Mianus." "I'm trying to see your Uranus from Mianus." haha
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.' -Isaac Asimov-
George, Washington
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

There's a place called Possum Kingdom, Kentucky -- a thought either charming or horrifying, depending on how you feel about possums.

Perhaps. When I think of it, I get an over-the-top cartoon image of possums overrunning everything. I think of the same sort of image when I hear of the organization "Ducks Unlimited". |
