Atheism the unscientific belief (part one, two, and three)
RE: Atheism. The UNscientific belief (part two)
Yeah I just haven't had my turn yet so you can all sit back and put up your feet while I piss myself laughing for a while, then get mind-numbingly bored and wait for the next person to respond to him.

What I can't believe is how dumb people sound when they've imbibed too much of the woo woo.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

It seems that not having any dogma is considered by some to be dogma.

@ Little Rik

I thought you might chicken out. Just because I can act immature when I want to doesn't mean I'm not capable of being mature. The main thing is to know the fucking difference.

You seem to be an expert in dogmas Rob.  Lightbulb
Can you please help Little Rik by explaining him what a dogma is?  Thanks

From google define: a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true.

Atheism doesn't have one principle, it isn't laid down but authority and it doesn't claim anything at all let alone claim anything as gospel.

Here you go, you disingenuous twit:

Dogma: A principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true.

dogma
[dawg-muh, dog-]

noun, plural dogmas or (Rare) dogmata [dawg-muh-tuh] (Show IPA)
1.
an official system of principles or tenets concerning faith, morals, behavior, etc., as of a church.
Synonyms: doctrine, teachings, set of beliefs, philosophy.
2.
a specific tenet or doctrine authoritatively laid down, as by a church: the dogma of the Assumption;
the recently defined dogma of papal infallibility.
Synonyms: tenet, canon, law.
3.
prescribed doctrine proclaimed as unquestionably true by a particular group:
the difficulty of resisting political dogma.
4.
a settled or established opinion, belief, or principle:
the classic dogma of objectivity in scientific observation.
Synonyms: conviction, certainty.

We could posit dogmatic behavior as:   Slavishly following a belief system in the face of opposing scientific evidence.

A refusal to believe something based on the non-availability of measurable data is not dogma.
