(Like how they know a planet's temperature, size, and atmospheric conditions/ability to support life,1500 light years away. by what amounts to electronically listening to frequencies we have no way of verifying that remain constant 1 light year away let along 1499 more. not to mention how this frequency is affected by time) no, we in The religious community are not required to have so much faith. God typically provides us with lots of small evidences protracted over time to help us build a solid understanding and unshakable beliefs.

Read Genesis 3. It did not say the snake walk on his legs. It said the snake was cursed to crawl on its belly and eat dust.

The snakes legs could have helped augment his local motion through brush and trees. Which would keep him far from the type of life lived eating dust by being forced to spend most of the day on the ground
