Is eating shellfish more serious than gay sex? Is failure to get baptized more serious than mass murder? If you pray in public will you go to hell? If you aren't an eunuch for the kingdom of heaven's sake will you end up in the lake of fire? If you help a widow younger than 60 how long will you spend in hell? That would be nice, but at the same time, whatever wrong you do as a christian, you are forgiven, because of your belief in jesus. The whole religion is just one huge loophole of pointlessness. You can literally do whatever you want, except blaspheme against the holy spirit, and go to heaven. Rape is worse than blaspheming against the holy shithead. Talk about one fucked up religion. Many catholics believe masturbation is a mortal sin. That's pretty funny.

And, of course, you can't forget the sex. Most pre-marital pregnancies are from the cherry-pickers, themselves. They sure love following their own bible, don't they?

You'd think gay sex and abortion are the two worst sins someone can commit...
Given America's devout Christian population suddenly increases tenfold when the subject of either comes up.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie (July 28, 2015 at 4:52 pm)Drich Wrote: Real simple. The bible only Gives ONE context in which sex is allowed. That is a sanctified marriage. Really fucking simple; your subjectively enforced OT biblical prohibitions only apply to one class of citizen: Christians. And even then it's an honest John system; not every Christian finds the threat of hell a compelling consideration when making decisions in his/her daily life. You'll be given a seat at the table in this discussion when there are no Christian divorces (Mark 10:9). Even then, as far as the U.S. is concerned, you will be compelled to make a convincing secular argument that would apply to all of us regardless of religious affiliation. Seems to me that your time and mental health would be better served fucking off; the manner of which I leave to your discretion. (July 28, 2015 at 7:05 pm)Salacious B. Christ on a fucking cracker with tartar sauce, Drippy. Do you even read this shit before you put it out there? Like damn.
Consent is not what separates sin and crime. What separates sin and crime is this: crime is when you do something that harms a real person and/or breaks laws made by real people, whereas sin is an act against a made-up person and/or the laws that made-up person is purported to have made. Furthermore, thought crime isn't a real thing, let alone thought RAPE. Seriously, where do you get this shit? Some of it isn't even in the bible.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." That's why we have a whole book of things called "hate crimes" and "conspiracies". Heck, every conceivable act known to man has been is, or will be illegal somewhere in America. It's bad enough to do the actual deed but if they say you had some unapproved thoughts while committing the deeds they throw an additional punishment at you. Drich like myself are not God and we would be more effected about the rape of our wives. He wasn't ever talking about man and the differences in sexual sin, he was speaking of God's judgement on those who are guilty. GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
