Hi people, how are you all?

Looking forward to some good old-fashioned skeptical discussion and getting to know some of you.

Skeptical of what, precisely? Thinking

Welcome Smile

As for 'how I am'... I am frustrated, because the computer is a cheater... that was my 3rd loss in a row to the most incredible 'odds' I've lost to since I stopped trying to play that game... outside of the killer luck, it reminds me of MoO... but with the luck... it's downgraded to something lie the Settlers of Catan (which is a board game).

Hi ShinyLight,

Being "skeptical" for me means taking an attitude of questioning towards truth claims (questioning reasons for both believing and doubting). So a skeptical Christian is someone who has this attitude and accepts Christianity as opposed to humanism, Islam, etc.

Why do you describe yourself as "antitheist" rather than "atheist"?

So either you're a more intelligent christian (as it seems from your tone)... or you're so brainwashed that you think you are being skeptical and really aren't Dodgy I place my dibs on the former... but we shall see Tongue

Nice to meet you Saerules Smile

I try to be skeptical of everything: my own beliefs and those of others (as I defined "skeptical" for ShinyLight).

I'm sorry to hear of your game-related frustration. I'm not much of a gamer so I can't really offer much practical advice, but the following half-hearted cheer of support might inspire your confidence:

"You can do it."

Thanks D.S.M.! I'm good - the sun is out, it's the weekend, and it's nearly lunchtime. Smile

I'm really alright Smile

Oh that is nice to know, why do you accept Christianity over Islam, Judaism, Humanism etc..?

I am an Antitheist because I oppose belief in God, I see it as detrimental to the world therefore I am 'Against Theism'
