Like some of the other atheists I came here for the sense of community. I only know other atheists through the medium of the internet, and seeing as I live in the Bible Belt that shouldn't be a surprise.

Similar to many: I came looking for intelligent conversation with like-minded people. I stayed because I managed to convince enough people that I was awesome enough that they should invest time in my opinions; that sort of shit gives you obligations.
