He's another toothless useless tiger like his mate upstairs ...All fucking talk, no action!

Now that I think about it, maybe the bible was the inerrant word of God.
A compulsive narcissistic immature little arsehole could have written the bible word for word as it stands!

Well, to be fair, I didn't offer him my soul. I just said he could wreck the weather for the rest of the year. It wasn't really my gift to give, nor could I presumably stop him doing it anyway if he wanted to!

So the devil is just a nice guy who wanted me to have a lovely wedding and honeymoon. And fuck everyone else, of course Tongue He doesn't always think things through.

Yeah, I mean what's the devil's biggest crime? Not worshiping the god of the old testament. Then he gets kicked out, and has his name dragged through the mud.

I think these 'devil buy's your soul' stories are mostly a modern invention. So it doesn't surprise me that they don't make theological sense.

Whatever you mean by modern. They are around in folklore since the Middle Ages.

Well I'm not really an expert on the topic and am too lazy to wikipedia it, so I'll take your word for it. But even then, that's a good 1000 year gap between these stories and the new testament. I doubt the writers of middle age folk lore were going for biblical consistency.

Writers is already the wrong word. They have been told, collected and written down at a later stage. They're rather frequent in European folklore. It obviously made for good horror stories on these long winter evenings.

He got to fuck God's kid in the ass for 3 days (well, 30 some hours), so there were some compensations.

Undecided
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I wonder if anyone would buy it and how much I would get for it.

I'd be really surprised if it hasn't been tried before.

I wonder if it would run afoul of ebay's TOS if one were to sell one's soul to say, ten thousand different people for $5 each? Thinking

How about selling fractional ownership?
Shares?
Offer free shipping and send an empty box...

So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat? Huh
