Personally I'm quite strongly anti-religion, but yeah anti-theist indicates a dislike of religious people, which I generally try to avoid.

I don't know. I was a firm anti-theist my last years as a believer. I can't speak for others, but during that period
religiosity and fundamentalism of all types pretty much disgusted me, especially of the Christian variety (due to personal exposure).  Btw, I'm using this definition of anti-theist; one who is in opposition to organized religion.

I suspect anti-theism is often a 'gateway' to atheism....Just Say Yes!

Iro, lol...anti-theism has nothing to do with disliking theists. I love one. Opposed to -theism.....not opposed to -theists.

That one wouldn't work for me though.  I don't have a problem with religion. Pretty fond of it, to be frank.

I agree. It should be called anti theism, IMHO. Anti theist makes it sound like you don't like theists lol.
