Would anyone mind telling me how to make it where it doesn't tell me every single time anyone posts in any thread I've ever posted in? Seems like I already have the "My Posts" link for that purpose.

Yeah but that's like saying you don't like certain features of iOS8, so the solution is to throw your iPhone in a river. Just because you don't like certain alerts doesn't mean you want them all gone.
