So, if you have no evidence, why should I believe your claim? No, threats of hell don't count.

Sorry I'm confused... do you believe that there is a God just not the Christian God, or do you deny that there is a God completely, or are you saying you don't know and no one can know without evidence? In the face of lack of evidence for a claim, a reasonable person acts upon the lack of evidence by acting as if the the claim in not true. The longer the claim goes without evidence, the stronger the inference the claim is not true. The god claim has been around a very long time and there is still no evidence.
Additionally, the more improbable the claim, the more evidence is required to prove it. The god claim, like all supernatural claims is extremely improbable and therefore requires an extraordinary amount of evidence to prove. So in the absence of evidence of god, I simply operate on the much justified assumption that no such being exists. Show me some evidence and I'll reconsider.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

As do most who call this place home, I make no claims about the existence of any gods. I simply find no reason to believe in them as no one has ever presented a compelling claim, yourself most definitely included. You want to convince me, provide some evidence to back up your claims. Threats of hell and the contents of the buy-bull don't count. Real, testable, verifiable evidence or GTFO.

What's wrong is that you're preaching, not discussing. Regurgitating all the usual clichés about how we're all in denial and will learn the truth some day is the opposite of discussion; it is shutting down discussion. If as you say that's all you have, then why are you here? Because this is not a pulpit. Take your fire 'n' brimstone outside.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

And given the enormity of your claim there should be tons of evidence.
