Well, if you're gonna dream, dream big. The whole point of the video is that with government funding for science being cut, less science is being done. This drastically reduces the already slim chance of anyone getting to Mars, ever (Elon Musk and Richard Branson can't do everything). Boru

Can't afford to fund science and education, what with all the money we need to spend on subsidizing the rich, and pumping up out military budget.

Well, increasing military funding does involve science funding, to an extent. I mean, without scientists, who the hell figured out depleted uranium bullets, napalm, and Agent Orange? Science ain't all spaceships and vaccines, kids. Boru

One of the most beautifully true videos I've ever seen.
I shared it on Facebook immediately after watching. Now I'm logging back out of FB.
Explain to me how this is a war? Ideological fuck up, but war?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I'm sure, that's the last thing any US administration cuts. If that's any comfort. (October 18, 2015 at 8:33 pm)mh.brewer Wrote: Explain to me how this is a war? It might not be as hostile as something you would expect "war" to metaphorically stand for, but simply put; War makes for a good title, which sparks more peoples curiosity and gets the message out. |
