TWD Season 6
TWD Season 6

That's just Star Wars bullshit. Her character must have been written into the script by a 9 year old, she's jaja binks with swords.

Il give a more realistic scenario. Even if she managed to remain hidden in the trees, she might then be able to jump down and kill one person it's possible, but then she gets gunned down instantly by the men surrounding her.

Suspension of disbelief!!! Lol

TWD Season 6
My hubby and I have been faithfully watching since the first season, and my biggest frustration with the series is the lack of consistent quality story telling. They will have an incredible run of episodes, and then a run of 'wtf, that was so stupid,' episodes. Some of the story lines are so beautifully executed, and then they dump something pointless on us like that useless woman who ran the hospital in season 5. That whole story arc just felt like filler, and Beth's death was completely meaningless.

I think my big problem with season 6 is the writers involved way too many characters for the story telling format they chose. Because each episode only focuses on a few characters at a time, and we have SO MANY of them now with all of the Alexandrians, by the time we get back to what Rick and Michone are up to for example, it's been WEEKS, and I can't even remember where they left off. The story telling becomes so fractioned off that it it's hard to discern a clear beginning, middle and end to the action, and I'm left wondering, 'did anything much really HAPPEN this season?' How far forward has the plot really advanced? Season 6 did have some fabulous episodes though; Morgan's journey being one of my favorite episodes the series has ever done.

Here's to a more streamlined season 7!

Endeth rant. Wink

My main problem with the show is inconsistent, often lazy writing - especially when it comes to the walkers. Sometimes they're super-strong and agile, so that a handful of them can take down a horse and tear it to shreds with their fingertips, other times - they're helpless, uncoordinated and can be held back by a child. They're dumb and loud most of the time, but then once an episode some of them - often ridiculously large groups - manage to silently sneak up out of nowhere on the main characters, until their almost within the biting range.

Of course - if that's not enough to create the sense of danger - a tower can always randomly fall over and destroy part of a wall keeping the walkers out.

Anyway - in case anyone hasn't seen this:

One of the biggest inconsistencies I find is how "The gun rule" just disappears in certain scenes

"The gun rule" - That characters agree not to shoot their guns out in the open, unless absolutely necessary, in case it attracts walkers.

How many times have they forgot this rule, and with no consequence? It must be countless times by now.

I also saw inconsistencies with the Beth hospital storyline too. Beth wasn't injured and she had a gun, but somehow she is captured, while a limping and un-armed Noah escapes? That whole scene so was so dumb, it made me laugh.

And then a few episodes later Noah, still limping and recovering, manages to outrun a healthy Tyrese for a full 5 minutes? What kind of pain killers was Noah taking, exactly?

RE: TWD Season 6
I Just finished season 5, my over all quick notes on the all 5 seasons: The events and how it all went didn't really surprise me, I had lots of these "oh, that's convenient" moments. I hate the fact that season 2 was almost all about this stupid fucking piece of shit Sophia, I like rick's acting, and he's very consistent with the slow change in the character's personality. I hate the unbelievable jaw power that walkers have, one bite attempt and it's gets all bloody and shit pffff, we humans don't have that strong jaw or teeth shaped in a way that could make us penetrate clothes and skin, let alone dead people.
Look at me being skeptic about how the zombies should be Big Grin

And how the hell everytime there is a walker herd in the forest, they all see them suddenly only when they are very near by ? sneakin' walkers ?
I hate when they get overly dramatic and start crying and shit, I just wanna say "dis ain't desperate house wives, bitch".
"we're all infected".....surprise surprise, kinda hard to believe that they all didn't know about an obvious fact like that.
what about that girl that rick killed in the first episode in season one ? he didn't know about walkers yet, how did he kill her that fast with no hesitation ?

the korean guy is my fav character though Smile

Well, visibility is impaired in the middle of a forest, with all the foliage in the way. You wouldn't see a zombie coming for miles in the middle of a forest. You would be able to hear them though, which is going back to what someone else said earlier. These zombies, who apparently have no brain function to think apart from "eat! eat! eat!", apparently have selective groaning that comes and goes with the breeze.

They also have selective hearing too, given the amount of gunshots they've apparently not heard throughout the seasons.

Season 2 seems notoriously hated for that Sophia storyline tbh. It just dragged on and on, and on and on. It got old very quick.
