If you look at the thread it question, it was all quite civilized until TFS asked Adrian if he was drunk. In Adrian's next post he called TFS stupid. It went on from there. Looks like trading insults to me.
Absolutely, internet forums are great places to insult people. Its just a shame that that particular thread turned out like it did, since both Adrian and TFS are scientifically literate intelligent people who were (until the shit started flying) making scientifically literate and intelligent comments about an important landmark in bio-engineering.
