Nope. An all loving god that creates a hell for endless torture is a contradiction, and for a perfect being to contradict itself cannot therfor be perfect.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

If I die today and yet somehow magically appear before a wrathful god then I've only got one thing to say to this deity:
Where the fuck were you hiding?

But then again...we might be right.
Then what??

Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word

If we are wrong it's because we were set up to fail by a deceptive, vindictive, nasty, small minded god.

I wouldn't want to be in a heaven with the Mormons anyway.

Honestly this is very Pascal's Wager-esque. However it's just not something that I think about very often, but i'll do my best to give a good answer. If the genocidal, megalomaniacal, self-serving, condescending, child killing monster known as the judeo-christian god is real, then i'd much rather go to hell than align myself with him anyway. If he would send people to burn in hell for eternity for requesting even a sliver of evidence to his existence before believing, then fuck him. What sort of all powerful being needs constant re-assurance of his omnipotence anyway?
"In our youth, we lacked the maturity, the decency to create gods better than ourselves so that we might have something to aspire to. Instead we are left with a host of deities who were violent, narcissistic, vengeful bullies who reflected our own values. Our gods could have been anything we could imagine, and all we were capable of manifesting were gods who shared the worst of our natures."-Me
"Atheism leaves a man to sense, to philosophy, to natural piety, to laws, to reputation; all of which may be guides to an outward moral virtue, even if religion vanished; but religious superstition dismounts all these and erects an absolute monarchy in the minds of men." – Francis Bacon

We just as well might end up with all christians as a flock of flying toasters in the brazilian jungle as a punishment for not believing in god X. The thing is, to sort out this mesh the only thing we can rely on ultimately is reason. If we are to abandon reason altogether there would be no structure to the world we are living in now whatsoever. So the real choice is to allow hell on earth or to postpone a judgement based on illogic.
Also the eternal punishment thing for me morally disqualifies the christian god. In general I find it easier to reject gods on moral grounds than to exclude their existence with reason and evidence.
