Undertale
This is a recent game going around the Let's Play circles. An RPG where the game knows the actions you take. It has interesting characters and story, and deconstructs some common RPG tropes like exp, lv, and running around killing everything you can just to gain more power.

It's ten bucks on steam. I guess it could be considered kind of a short game if you just try to go start to finish, but there's a lot to do that lengthens it out.

Good video to watch, if you want to know how common the Jesus story really is.

When I play games, I prefer beautiful graphics.

Yeah, the graphics in this game are pretty simple. Like more old-school stuff. I don't mind, but I suppose some people do.

The soundtrack is nice too.

I'm usually not a graphics a graphics aficionado, but this is quite a little too little for me.

One funny thing I think is when you first start the game, it looks like your character is lying down with his/her eyes closed. Then you move and you notice it's just a 2D game with a permanently shut-eyes type character.

Played it, completed it. Didn't kill a soul.
Then I watched people on youtube who killed everyone and felt superior.

Flowey is the only one on my kill list if I get the game, though I can't get the perfect pacifist ending if I put him out of his misery.

RE: Undertale
Something else I noticed. Not to get too spoilery, but there's a monster who absorbed the soul of a Human, and went to a village, but got attacked. It's said he had the power to destroy them all, but we also found out that a monster with the equivalent of seven souls can't even destroy a child that's determined enough to win.

Is that a bit of gameplay/story segregation, or what?

You already answered your own speculation.

In regards to that not to spoil it Flowey  isn't as evil as he seems
more or less misunderstood at most.
