Jumping to conclusions

RE: Jumping to conclusions
Can I assume the sun will rise from the east tomorrow?
Past history gives assumptions validity.

Most here also expected the same culprits, not because we're stereotyping, but by simple assumptions.
Eg: a combination of demographics, political issues in France, statistics, etc...
Isn't that science. It certainly isn't dumb luck....

No, not really.  Not as long as you are willing to adjust your original assumption based on facts which are developed later.  As indicated above, it seems reasonable to dismiss Greenpeace, the Boy Scouts or Jehovah's Witnesses as sources of the attack.

If it turns out that the bombs were fashioned from copies of the Watchtower one might have to rethink that.

ISIS has now claimed responsibility.

But I will remember with the next attack on Paris to remember not to assume that they are responsible,
until they claim responsibility, which they then will.

Or the attack after that.

Or the attack after that.

Or the attack after that.

Was watching BBC till about 1:30 am (GMT) I did hear M. Hollande state that they knew who was behind it, and one of the survivors from the Bataclan stating that the attackers shouted "Allahu Akbar!" and "This is for Syria!".
Alongside this it was blatently obvious that the attackers knew their way round the city intimately, they weren't refugees straight off the boat, they were Parisiennes, probably including former employee(s) at the theatre. It has now been confirmed that at least one of the attackers was a French national, another was originally from Belgium plus speculation regarding a Syrian passport.

Conspiracy theory: The Israelis did it. Net and yahoo visits Washington and gets approval. The Israelis activate their sleeper cells who carry out the operation because they think that they are part of ISIS. ISIS claims the operation because it makes them look like real bad guys. The French attack ISIS saving direct American involvement. The attack on ISIS weakens the Russian plan to leave ISIS as the survivor against Assad and takes the pressure off of the terrorist groups that the US supports to overthrow Assad. The average European and American citizen turns against the refugees, seeing them as a security threat.
