It is a physics textbook

http://www.springer.com/de/book/9783642376757

It's for advanced undergrad or beginning graduate level field theory
I am fantasizing about a quantum physics based novel as well, for which I have about 30 pages written and 15 pages of character bio...
Actually, that's what I'm working on—a fantasy novel involving quantum. I was thinking about making this a series. Maybe this could be a collaborative series. You do your novel and I do mine and we promote it as a series like Andre Norton and Mercedes Lackey.

I don't know who they are, but sounds reasonable Big Grin I'm going more in the direction of a science thriller, not so much fantasy. The closest thing to fantasy which I would like to write is a steampunk saga. I have a rough idea, but not much more.

See?

Oooooohhhh, ok
To make it even more interesting, nano means 9. As a unit of measurement it means one billionth or 10 to the -9 power. or 0.000000001

Talk about infinite regression.

Thriller and fantasy are very different genres. I don't want you to change what you're doing. Maybe we will create a whole new genre—the quantum genre. like steampunk deals with 19th century technology, quantum can deal with QM.

Perhaps a novel about a pre-industrialized world in which perceptible quantum effect occurs on macroscopic scales. It would be interesting to speculate whether and how match and science would develop in such a world.
