Anyone remember this toy?
November 26, 2015 at 12:05 pm
Not sure if this is what my mom is thinking of. But we are watching the parade and she started talking about a toy car that was popular that I wanted as a kid.
Anywho, I think she might be talking about the one's you would pull the plastic zipper through it to crank it up, and it would crash into whatever it hit and the doors and hood would fly off.

I think the front bumper on those cars would move in slightly at impact, and that was the catch that released the doors and the hood.
My little brother had one, I can't remember the name. Parents hated it.

Few parents are going to enjoy a toy that comes apart by design, and possibly makes noise that gets annoying eventually. I once had a squeaky frog that I enjoyed. I loved it, but my dad hated it, so one day he cut the squeaker out. So then it was just a rubber hollow frog.

My friend who had every toy going had one, but I don't know what it was called.
