Will You Tale Part in the Holiday Spirit or Will You be the Grinch Who Stole Xmas?

I know we don't believe in spirits. We don't believe in Jesus. We don't believe in the virgin birth or Santa claws.
Yet, I can't find fault with the only day in the year when nobody's fussing about whose turn it is in the bathroom.
When I first turned away from Christianity, I wouldn't return people's "Merry Christmas." I couldn't say what I wanted to say, but I'd be damned if I was going to let people make me say things I didn't want to say.
Now, though, I'm still just as much an un believer, but I feel less hostile about the heritage and good feeling around this time of year. I can feel that and jus take the secular and leave the religious shit alone. That's not hypocrisy. That's my choice.

The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.
Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.

Nietzsche isn't dead. How do I know he lives? He lives in my mind.
