After reading bible passages, just taking a moment for anger over how it not only fucked up all of human history for the past 2000 years, but also fucked up your own personal family history?  Hell yeah, dyresand.

I do not blame the book for the shithead who wields it.

The book is a pile of shit but by itself it is just a badly written book.

I've read most of it and agree with the OP. Although there is an overwhelming about of crap, some of the proverbs are thought provoking.

There are so many things fucking up humanity that it really doesn't matter. In Europe the bible thumpers really don't matter anymore. In America they're more of a problem, but I guess they only would become a real and present danger if one of them manages to park his ass in the White House.

More kind of despressed that people still believe in this stuff. That they're willing to kill and die for it. That they want to talk about the end times, and Jesus coming soon, despite the fact that people have been saying "soon" for thousands of years. That they're willing to forsake their own children for their ticket to heaven.

Let's pretend the bible didn't exist, do you honestly believe humanity wouldn't find another way to screw things up?  As a matter of fact, I think you believe (correct me if I'm wrong please) humanity invented God and all religions, so the fault is not the religion but humanity itself.  Humanity f''ed up humanity.  I don't see your point really.
