I, too, am going to date myself.

This is one of my favorites and one of the artists I most wish I could have seen live.





If you like sample-based music, these guys are the best.  Too bad they only had one album.





Then there's these guys.  I saw them live, and the duo played this entire album with a guitar, a bass, and a guest on drums.
