Technically I was not a microbiologist, but an environmental scientist and field biologist for a regulatory agency.
I did work a semester in the genetics lab, in college, looking at the BAYV variant of the Hantavirus in rice rats ( Oryzomys palustris)... ironically, it was the work of finding and trapping the rats to sample that gave me my love of field biology.
Not trying to be a jerk; I just don't want to let live any claims or assumptions that are not factual.

Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

You're chasing euphoria, Ev. Don't go down that road. You're human, and you will get into a dump once in a while. You can't stay happy go lucky 24/7. I've been there. It's ok to be sad. Take your time and hope you feel better soon

You know, I've actually never been on a moped. Kinda want to; maybe turn my usual Rocker gear into having a Mod outfit weekend, riding one around Key West or something. I'll look into that this summer... definitely will post pics of that if I do.

I'm almost done with my winter restoration of the Harley, so maybe global warming will bless me with some riding days in the pre-spring weeks. Right now I'm stuck on four wheels. Three bikes, and can't ride any of 'em at the moment. Bleh.
