I must admit it's the only scene from DG I know, I am neither much of an opera person nor much of a Mozart person. But this is very impressive.

I like the Moll performance better, personally, though I also really like the slower Furtwangler as well. I have never heard the newer one you posted. I dig it! Very good singing, and the weird modern stage kind of triggers new neurons. |
