A cancer diagnosis suspends Christopher Hitchens' book tour

RE: A cancer diagnosis suspends Christopher Hitchens' book tour
It's sad, but there is a small measure of hope in this day and age. The treatments are not pleasant, but they are becoming more and more effective all the time. I'll keep my fingers crossed for him.

And I'm waiting for Jerry Falwell to say that god is punishing him for spreading the word of Satan or some such garbage.

Figures a Christian would get smug satisfaction over Hitchens getting cancer and declare, "Now he has a chance to repent, because atheists aren't serious when they're ill!"

Completely predictable reaction from the lunatic fringe, boss.

Since he's been dead for three years, I doubt that Falwell will be doing much.

New article: Topic of Cancer

Good to see he's still got his wit and clarity through this. It's really too bad, though.

Eil's article was far more accurate and less biased then the one you linked leo. I hope Mr HWhile I agree that he was being condescneding and twitish in places (and probably has a history of that) and I don't feel any1 should really comment on someone elses misery other than solely supportive comments, the overall message I got was just to pray for his well being. I hope Mr. Hitchens pulls through.
