What do people think of this man? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Che_Guevara
I know he has fans who sport t-shirts of him.
But he is controversial as well. He seems to have killed a lot of innocent people and like Lenin had sort of an "ends justify the means" attitude about him.
Though he sure jabbered about the poor a lot, how much did he really help them? Did he open a soup kitchen for the poor, or set up a "Good Will" type store of used clothes for them to buy at a discounted price?
Though he talked to a lot of poor folk in his "motorcycle diaries" he never tried to help them be at peace with their lot or be content with it. If anything he seemed to incite greed and unhappiness in these poor people, made all the poorer by contact with him.
Also, if he was such a good person, why didn't he condemn communism and recognize the evil things it had done, and continues to do in places like Cuba and North Korea.
Thoughts please!!
