In other news, Bowie's last album is his first to hit number one in the U.S. Too bad he had to die to get that recognition.

Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Well yeah, like I said already earlier 69 is a fucking awesome age to die. I just wanna die in my late 30's or so.
Unless you are hopelessly ill and incapacitated at that age, I doubt you won't wish to go on after 40.
I've found it more than interesting how many rock n' roll artists who, when younger may have personified James Dean's philosophy "Live fast, die young - leave a beautiful corpse", and now are more beautiful in their 60's and 70's than anyone ever would have imagined it possible. Of course it isn't natural, but when some of them dance at age 70 better than most can in their 20's, that is really inspiring.
Anyway, why stop at age 69, just for the worn-out joke? Life is precious for as long as you can enjoy it in any way!
Mr. Hanky loves you!

You know, when being in my early 20ies, I thought dying at 28 like Jim Morrison isn't that bad. Now, in my 50ies, perspectives have shifted.

I was 16 when my oldest sister got married at 26 and I thought she was so old!
I'm 5 years older than now and I still don't really even fell like an adult :p

Life is a worn-out joke.
