Not really. Can't see how you reach that conclusion. Talking in the second person doesn't always mean you're referring to the person you're talking to in particular, it can be used to make out a point about something.

I agree that I should have phrased it better. But other than that, I still didn't flat out say she was stupid. I was making a claim about intelligent and humble people's knowledge on the issue, that doesn't mean everyone else is stupid. The world isn't made up of stupid people on one side, and intelligent people on the other. You might be wrong about something and right about something else and viceversa with others.

Would me telling you that I don't consider her as such settle the issue for you? Because I don't. I think she's quite intelligent in fact.
