I've read it more than once, but never bookmarked it. Sorry.

Did you report them? Any licensed dealer -- and all retail sellers are federally licensed -- must see your ID, have you complete a 4473, and he must also initiate a NICS check: http://smartgunlaws.org/federal-law-on-b...nd-checks/

Your purchase was clearly handled in an illegal manner. Did you report it? Will you be doing so?

Forgive my skepticism then. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Do you not even remember the name of the source, so that I can see it for myself?

I don't bookmark much, because I tend to bookmark everything when I get started. You are right to be skeptical, of course.

We (presuming you actually live in the US, and don't think that all of it is Connecticut, Boston, or politically divided into boroughs and not counties) do not live in a country of geography where guns should be restricted to law enforcement. If you live outside of such a bubble, you may be in a situation for which the closest law enforcement personnel cannot respond in a timely manner. The fuck, this is true in the Bronx! If you and your neighbors don't want guns in your town, then you can outlaw them in your town, but please stop trying to lord your culture over geographic regions where it doesn't work!

Why are you so afraid?

What? Really? -- !! -- I went into one of the largest, most reputable brick-and-mortar dealers in the State.  I just believed the guy when he said that nobody required all that paperwork anymore!  Oh, I can be so naive . . .    Yes, according to your link, they should have done an NICS check, taken my driver's licence, etc.   Um, wow.  My little STI Elektra could be illegal.   Faints
I have all of the paperwork tucked into the manual in the gun case.  (For the safety-conscious posters, yes, it's in a safe.) I will check it when I get home.  I know that there was only one (very young) worker in the store when I was there, and that all of the other guys were at lunch.  I don't want to get anyone fired, but I do think that it is my duty to talk to the manager about this.  Thanks, Thump!

If you support guns don't bitch about when your mom or girlfriend gets "accidently" shot at and murdered by a gun owning retard.
Think you can do that?

How would you feel if a retard goes on a kill spree because his wife divorce raped him and kills all your children at school with his gunz?

"Oh but i only support guns in the hands of responsible people."

Yeah, right, as if humans are vulcan..
"It's not logical to get angry. All she did was suck another dick. I propose a gathering of intellectuals to examine the situation in a rational way and arrive at an informed conclusiom after we examine all the axioms and consider statistical data."
Yeah people are prone to dumb, welcome to reality...

Ban all guns.

Make it mandatory for every citizen to be trained in self defense starting at a young age.

Give cops only rubber bullets and handguns. Document every bullet that's fired.

The reason you still have these guns is because your govt. would rather have all ze monies than the safety of its citizens.
0 guns.

Guns are useful. We recently used long guns to thin the coyote population around here. However, they're not holy. The "ardent gunners" have a bad case of slippery-slope-phobia.

I don't care if you kill yourself in your muscle car, but I'll probably sit up and take notice if I find it in my back seat, or in my living room. So why aren't the liberals trying to ban muscle cars?

Classic argument. Also a bad one. Guns have one purpose: to shoot. Its primary purpose is to be used as a weapon. There's no practical reason for a gun like there is a car or a knife or a bat or any other object that could be used as a weapon despite not being manufactured as one. You buy a gun because you want to either shoot things, shoot animals, shoot people, or some or all of the above. You're not using a gun to get to work. You're not using a gun to slice bread. You're not using a gun to play baseball. You're using a gun to shoot.
