Matey, being a pc gamer geek from way back, I don't think there's anything I haven't played of that era...
I really do love the top down RTS games.

I adore AoE 1 and 2, I like the original RoN a lot... I love the original Starcraft

I love Dark Reign, I love Total Annihilation... I love all the old top down RTS games. It's when it became all 3D and cumbersome that it started to get shitty IMO, like... I haven't seen a NEW good RTS game in AGES

There was a C&C which was half top down and half FPS. was it Red something?

The C&C series is one RTS game series I didn't play.

I've played AoE 1, 2 and expansions... Vanilla 3.... Vanilla RoN. Vanilla AoM. Warbreeds. Dark Reign 1. Total Anhilation. Cossacks. Empire Earth 1, Starcaft 1 and expansion, Warcraft 2, Warcraft 3 Vanilla... think that's about it.
