Is porn a public health crisis yes or no state your opinion. 

Personally i say now i mean you know to blow a load off every now and then. 
It's not hurting anyone unless you are too rough with yourself.

Crisis? In what capacity would it be a crisis? Porn has been around for decades and the human race is doing fine Smile

Considering we live in a world were Rule 34 can even keep lil' ole me happy, I'd say the 'porn crisis' has never been as abated as it is now.

I'd like to know if worldwide, per capita, whether rape has decreased or increased.
Logically you'd think it would decrease with porn being so prevalent.

I recall mention of a study that showed increased rape prevalence correlates with increasing gun ownership more than locally available  porn.

Obviously, this could be apocryphal, and also, the study would have had to been done pre-internet which ushered in  the availability of porn everywhere.

Same for hookers 'flocking' more to the RNC conventions than the DNC ones . . .

I also recall a snarky question in a report concerning suicides among teen video game players. If it turned out teens who play are LESS likely to commit suicide, should we REQUIRE all teens to play them ??

To me, the concerns are:

1) Cutting down on exploitation, keeping it as legitimate, safe and consensual as possible for those involved.

2) Children being given well-rounded sex education from other sources, so they don't end up thinking what they see in porn is the norm. This is a failure of society in general, not a problem with porn itself. I don't know about other countries, but in England we're a repressed people from this point of view. I got literally zero sex education from my parents, and laughable efforts from school.
