I don't see the point in broadening the words so much that they lose value. Every system is different. Not all are corrupt and not all are innocent. You make it out as if all losers campaigning against a claimed oppressor are unjustified which is simply not the case.
What do you propose? It's easy to say "Just fix it" without providing any solutions.

You do what the religious shitheads did to the GOP. Take over the party and write your own rules. The whole process is set up to make sure that there are only two parties. The libertarians got 1% of the vote in 2012. The Greens didn't do that well.
You want change? Register 10 million "independents" as democrats and take it over.
