The Naughty Corner

RE: The Naughty Corner
I'm just glad he didn't get to you CoxRox. I know you held a certain respect for him as he made you rework your views of the Bible, but at least you understand why he needed to be banned.

Hopefully we can all just shove this moment past and wait for the next fundamentalist to arrive.

Good golly darn it, though, a month!?

Plus, I'll be surprised if we get another fundy who sticks around longer than a post about how we're going to hell.

Also, what is his new forum?

I've just noticed the second user account by daystar.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

He's banned? I'm glad, I didn't like him much and didn't find him worth talking with almost immediately. I know some people enjoy debating people like that, but I can't. I'd rather have a meaningful conversation rather than make the same points repeatedly and still not get anywhere. I figured he was that type in his introductory post.

RE: The Naughty Corner
If I could describe him in one word perhaps it would be : Troublemaker
But not just a bit of one towards the end, towards the end he was a big, constantly digressing whenever he felt like it, deviating and at times arrogant one.
At best he wasted time. At worst he flamed and was an arrogant hypocrite and deliberately tried to annoy people too (or at least me, I can't speak for everybody, - I told him he failed to annoy me. He'd just wasted my time Tongue)
And that was BEFORE he disguised himself and went undercover, and was permanently banned. I'm not against him, I'm against his behavior. If he didn't behave that way but believed the same things - if he could have had a sensible discussion without being a complete prick if he didn't like the question - while he kept on questioning us, hypocritically - then that would have been fine. If he could have been reasonable enough to at least want to learn something rather than just preaching bullshit and trying to cause trouble.
He first came and said he wanted to 'teach'. But to me that basically ended up meaning that he didn't want to learn. He just wanted to give his view, it seems he wasn't arsed with anyone else's. And anyway it wasn't even 'teaching' in the end. It was preaching, digressing and flaming.

RE: The Naughty Corner
Moslem has been warned, again, for hit and run posting and the copying of large chunks of the internet onto this forum.

One more wrong step and he's gone for good.

I've sent a PM to him and gave him a little hint that he should ease off a little. Wink
