The singer is 66 years old today
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I grew up on Stevie. My first concert, when I was 3 on my dad's shoulders, was on the In Square Circle.

Talking Book is far and away my favorite album of his.

You and I is one of my favorite songs of all time.

I love me some Stevie.

Happy Birthday, Stevie!!!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Happy Birthday Stevie!

You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

"Isn't She Lovely" was a staple in the discos I went to in the 70s.

Happy Birthday!

And I suppose the newborn in the song is now in her 40s.

Sigh . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
