Faith cannot have verifiable evidence, or it wouldn't be faith.
Evidence informs knowledge based belief, to an extent. Nothing is known absolutely. Belief on faith is necessarily sans verifiable evidence. Belief on faith based on information recieved therefore cannot be ignorant faith, as it's based on knowledge, not lack of knowledge. 
To have faith and have no knowledge is very likely because faith has no evidence to support it.

Non sequitur. Faith is based on knowledge but not on verifiable evidence.

Faith, in the Christian sense, is the trust in information believed to be true. Verifiable evidence has nothing to do with faith, and is a different subject : science.

If the information is taken at face-value without any kind of scrutiny then by what standards do Christians justify their faith as being true? |
