Justin Bieber, Harry Styles and those other twinks from One Direction all say "hello" Tongue

The teenage girls that are head over heels over the type of girls like Justin Bieber, Harry Styles and such are the female equivalent of the males that fap looking at movie stars and dream of being with them and having children with them, both are delusional, quite frankly downright losers and bad examples to learn from.

Dude, just do what you have to do to like yourself. Master it. Really. People like people who like themselves. Do it for you, though.

I have been taking myself out on dates for a while now, crazy cat lady as it sounds. Dinner and a movie with myself. A little hike. Go sit under a tree and write. Go write next to my favorite ditch. Yeah, I have a favorite ditch. So?  Cool
I do these things because I'm learning to enjoy my own company. By the time I hang out with someone, I'm not needing them to be happy. I think that must be better than burdening them with the responsibility of completing me.

Do you. Master it. Be you to the highest potential. Nobody else can be the best version of you, but you. Think about it. If you try to be someone else, you can only reach a certain level of expertise. If you do you and reach for the highest quality of you, you have something that nobody else can surpass you in. You own it. Like a boss.

Nerdy? Own it. Awkward? Own it. Swagish like me? Sorry, that's mine. All mine. Wink

So, my suggestion is simple. Own your signature you. Master it. Enjoy your own company. When you least need it, it will come to you.

Unless... unless she's Californian. You might have to drive a bit. But careful with putting your eyes on the one with the beer and the hoops. My swag isn't cute all the time. ;Wink  I'll cut you!

And please, don't be that "nice guy". You're going to be sitting in that friendzone for eternity.

I am not a girl, but I am a guy who likes other guys.

Personality-wise, I like a broad spectrum of personalities.

Depends on the individual woman. You can generalise, but doing so isn't fair on women.

Sort of, be nice, but don't be nice in a manipulative way (general advice, not to you specifically, pool).

What, you haven't checked out a whole bunch of threads lately on this subject?  (Beards, Mamacita's "truth" thread, etc.)

Don't ask me.  I want: 1) intelligence, 2) a sense of humor, 3) driven to succeed/independent, 4) no penis, 5) tits.      Tongue

Awesome advice Smile

If you're not happy in yourself, I think it shows. I spent a period of time being very unhappy on my own, and desparate for a partner. Like really desparate. Not for sex especially, but for the closeness. I came off like a really needy overly-forward creep. I know I did, it makes me whince looking back. I drove people away very fast. It wasn't until I built up my relationship with myself again, as Ivy says, that I become at all attractive to anyone. Even then I was fucking lucky that I was someone out there's type!

I also agree with being yourself. You can't keep up an act long term, and someone who doesn't want you for who you really are isn't right for you. I'm not saying don't self-improve, of course that's always great. But don't try to be someone radically different just to please people.

And don't go waving anything near Ivy's girl that you're "attached to"!

"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you"

You just been Seuss'd!
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue
