Rationalism is not a humanism

Rationalism is not a humanism
Rationalism is a contradiction between its name and its content.  In logic, a contradiction in terms is necessarily false (if I may use poetic license for a moment).

RE: Rationalism is not a humanism
Rationality has strong ties with emotion. It is only when one looses himself in emotion to the point where rationality is discarded for delusion that there is a problem. A proper balance of rationality combined with emotion allows for humanism to truly change the world.

Rationality is a bonus, whereas rationalism is a pain in the butt.
