Really? That's your citation? Really?

Yes why do you ask? He says black and white people shouldn't breed together and makes examples of birds flock with their own kind. And that he did a speech at a KKK meeting which they cheered him for.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Because he clearly was joking and made fun of them. Bragging is something different. I also find it funny but not surprising that you take this one incident and don't consider all the other things he said in his life. But I applaud your effort in finding something meeting your expectations. It's not that easy, since most of what Ali said was on entirely different lines.

He said the same thing in other interviews.  His interview with Parkinson in 1971 is paraphrasing exactly what he's saying that little video but he even goes into further detail.  He talks about how mixed race couples will never get along for around 5 minutes solid, it's fairly well known non controversial knowledge that Muhammad Ali was a part of the nation of Islam and believed black and white people should remain separate.

I don't get the confusion, did you think that the nation of Islam in the 1970s was for integration? Also just to avoid any other confusion with anyone reading this, it was only in a specific time period in his life that he was with the nation of Islam (I already stated this) and I'm not making a big deal of it I'm just providing citation when asked for it.

No, they weren't. But you confuse cause and effect. Especially when it comes to him having been black. Which was a major issue at the time.

I said Muhamad Ali said he did a speech for the KKK.  Which is true he did say that, it shows him saying it in the video.  And I said he was for separatism.  Which seems to be the case in these two interviews and matches up with the rhetoric of the Nation of Islam.

Show where I confused cause and effect please.  Where did I say anything about cause and effect?

Why should a black man in the America of the 1960s be criticized for wanting to be the fuck away from the white folk who were running a rigged game?

If I were black in the America of the 60s, you bet your lily-white ass I'd have a passport and plane ticket as soon as I could save up for it. You can say a lot about my mother, but you can't say she raised a fool.

RE: Muhammad Ali dead
Like any other mature human being, Ali's views changed over time. It is perfectly true that in his youth he was against racial integration, but so what?

There's a (possibly apocryphal) story that when he returned from the Olympics, he was refused service at a diner in his hometown because, 'We don't serve niggers here.' Shortly thereafter, he threw his gold medal into a river.

Ali was clearly a man with the courage of his convictions, but that doesn't mean his convictions never changed.

I don't know. I said Muhammad Ali said he agreed with the kkk and did a speech for them.
It's your choice if you want to criticise him or not,

Although he isn't just talking about himself staying away from white people, he's talking about it as a policy. He believed that no white people would want non white children, no black people should have non black children and that interracial breeding was wrong in general.

Also I'm sure I remember hearing that his family and girlfriends were of the opinion he was just brainwashed and intimidated by the Nation of Islam at the time and were critical of his opinions.
