You're all invited to a party this Friday at my house at 7PM. Open bar. A69 in the guest room. The occasion? About to hit 100 pages of honesty posts full of confessions, apologies, declarations, instigations, romance, resentment, and more. This paves the way for the most hard core party you've ever joined. Just being justly honest:

This is a great thread and an awesome idea. The anonymity is empowering. It can be exciting. It can be sweet.

It can also be a shortcut to really hurt someone. This is entirely a personal request: if you're writing something negative about specific forum member(s), please take a moment to think about how they will feel. Trying to be cryptic is not much of an excuse. People know each other here. People figure shit out pretty easily. Even if they don't, the person you're talking about is going to know. It's a pretty cheap and nasty way to hurt them, under the pretense of unburdening yourself.

I'm not always bitter when people completely misunderstand me. Sometimes I'm just darkly amused.

I'm absolutely bowled over by the huge levels of trust many people here have shown me. It has been demonstrated in lots of different ways. I can't tell you what it means to me, and how much I appreciate the confidence that is put in me.

I promise I would never intentionally let anyone down. Ever. Thank you all.
