That's really great. It's a big thing to admit when you are wrong, I'm impressed. I'm glad you have had some positive experiences that have made you feel differently.
Funny how I've missed this post quietly squeezed between "The Passion of the Penguin" (the new movie of Mel Gibson), so I'm answering you a bit late but... I guess late is better than never.
A true atheist admits when they're wrong unlike religion. It's just that I have one character flaw - I have to see it to believe it, especially when it comes to religious people. The only thing I don't have to see it ot believe it are the aliens.
Thanks to @ I knew there are good people among christians (she's the first and I hope not the last one), now I discovered the same about muslim, so I guess I have
