The fact that the forum is political might be due to the fact that a large proportion of the regulars are not from the US... Build up that wall has rather different connotations in my country Smile

So where in TX are you from?

Greetings, Alex! Great to meet ya!

I was born and raised on the family cattle ranch in extreme west Texas, near Big Bend Ranch and Lajitas. We owned 240,000 acres that had been in the family for 5 generations.
Now I live on my own much smaller ranch about an hour east of San Antonio.

Thank you! It's been pretty interesting so far. Catch a little flak for being Texan and conservative, and pro gun, lol...but it's ok, I know how to duck!   Cranky

Hello from an aviation fan, but not pilot. My uncle works at Boeing in Everett, WA, and my biological father used to take me planespotting near the runway at KSAN (San Diego). I'm personally kind of a GA fan (big on Cessna 172's and HondaJet). I enjoy mraviation101 on YouTube.

How have you liked the convention from Cleveland?

Welcome pardner!

Change the word from conservative to rational and I'll let you in my boat.

Hi C172! I saw you earlier, figured you for a Cessna fan. Why not pursue that license? Flying is amazing. I've logged over 12,000 total time, and hedgehopping in a little Cesna ia still great fun. It never gets old.

I'm recovering from surgery right now- one of the reasons I found this forum- and to be honest, I just don't have the stomach to watch politics right now. Everything has gotten so...wacko. Wacky

Yeah, #RNCinCLE kind of gave me a headache, but I guess I was intrigued because I do have family up there and from there.
