If you like This American Life then you'll probably dig Snap Judgement.

It can be a bit of an acquired taste but I like Penn's Sunday School even though they still seem to have no earthly idea how to set their compressors, so the volume is always 4-5 lower than all your other podcasts.

True Murder pisses me off because it can get super judgey. I prefer Casefile or The Vanished.

Also, if you want to binge on a serialized story that's funny as fuck, you should get on the King Falls AM bandwagon.

Also, True Crime Garage and the most recent season of Detective, which is about a lead detective's life in crime in Charlotte, including during our own serial killer spree.

I never noticed the judgey parts of true murder.

What I did notice and find funny is the amount of awkward moments because of how nervous the narrator would always seem to be.

It was almost like someone doing a spoof of a nervous bad host.

He interupts his guests and the worst times to bring a message from the sponsors.
He would constantly talk at the same time as the guest then they'd both say " oh excuse me, sorry" then both try and start talking again at the same time.
And when he can't think of anything to say he'll say "oh well gee, he he that's fascinating."
And then there's the technical faults which he doesn't edit out for some reason.

That being said it's still something to listen to but I normally play computer games while I'm listening.
At first the mistakes were annoying then they just added a bit of comedy value to the show.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Do none of you listen to Lore? It's seriously the best podcast to hear stories that will make your skin crawl. It's very quiet, so don't expect jump scares. But do expect the stories to get under your skin and make you think twice about going into the woods... At all.

How did this get made is pretty funny. They talk about crap movies. It's the crew from The League so they pull in some actual insiders that can clue you in to how the crap movie got made.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue
