Girls do like shy guys. Girls don't like morbid, suicidal guys that just want sex based off their looks. The kind of talk you are giving off makes girls think they have to be the glue to hold you together or that you only want them because they are hot. Just being shy means having a hard time talking to strangers, stuttering (I stutter in public too) or being awkward. That is cute. Confidence is attractive because if you don't like yourself why should girls? I don't want my guy to think he is god himself but I don't want him to hate himself.

I think you are a little off though when you say we as the female gender are attracted to money. Only selfish, materialistic girls are attracted to money. None of my girlfriends have guys that are well off. I do like knowing that a guy can take care of me if need be but we are in a modern world and I can take care of myself. I'm attracted to a man that can pay his bills not one that can take me out to a fancy restaurant.

If you want to have sex go to a club and find a drunk girl. I'm getting married in a month and ya know what I like about him? Be yourself, and treat the women in your life with respect. Viewing romantic interactions through the lens of biology and genetic inheritance is not only terribly limiting, I don't know any woman who is fine with being viewed as a reproductive vessel and nothing more.
