God was busy...

I guess God had his hands full over in Rio...

Not posting this to try and bum out everyone else's day. It's just...as an atheist (and a mom), I don't know how to emotionally cope with stuff like this...the senselessness of these vulnerable little beings brought into existence without consent only to suffer; experience pain and brutality, and then die shortly after. I suppose it's no different than brutal deaths of any other species' young in the wild, but...this shit keeps me up at night...I have zero coping mechanisms for this. [emoji53]

That is fucked up. Unfortunately it does prove that our species is no different than other mammals. Bullies in young exist in other mammals too, you see runts with cat and dogs get squeezed out and bullied by family too. You also have more attentive parents and neglectful parents in other species too. But it really does not make any sense whatsoever when someone tries to claim an all loving all powerful all seeing God is watching.

What was the expression in English? "Lying through her teeth", I think. 6 yo kid isn't strong enough to beat a baby to death.

As for the greatly overrated douchebag, he was busy wanking while watching the mother-monster beating her baby.

You guys know that I like to see mental aberration where ever and when ever I can. Guess what I see in this family.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

A 6 year old is certainly big enough to pick up a baby. And having lived on a street full of bullies I can tell you kids that age can cause damage. I am not saying she isn't lying to cover up some things, but to say a kid isn't capable of physical harm is absurd. I'd bet the kid did do it, but because of some abuse he had suffered himself took it out on the baby.

It still regardless amounts to bad parenting regardless. She is still responsible.

In the bible, god sometimes likes to punish people by targeting their children. It's no less evil, but apparently that's how the writers explained why little kids die. The Egyptian rulers and upper class did something wrong. Kill their kids. David did something wrong. Kill his kid. I don't know how you would cope with this information, but jews and christians do have an explanation. They just somehow claim their god is a good god, despite his actions.

I would not automatically assume the mother beat a newborn to death, and blamed it on her child. A six year old is plenty strong enough to beat a newborn to death. At the very least she was negligent.
