Yeah, I go by personal experience and plausibility of universal order worked out on my own, with ample support after the fact from multiple religious stories/views and current scientific evidence. I prefer beliefs that are logical, predictive and backed up by evidence and I have already slain many previous beliefs. Such is the work of growing and pruning one's soul.

The beliefs you've described thusfar don't sound particularly logical, predictive, evidenced based, or scientific.  They do sound like run of the mill new-age reconstructionism.

In just -this- thread, you've expressed a belief that poor diet is the root cause of depression..which no amount of self help, drugs, or therapy can fix....and that you can fly, ffs.

Hey, Ark! What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking?

Label it what ever you like. It was personal experience, not something I read or heard.

Nice misrepresentation. I posted that change of diet and gut biome can help depression where drugs cannot because they do not replace gut bacteria. I even linked an article from medical doctors that specifically say antibiotics that kill gut bacteria indiscriminately can have an adverse affect on mood and well being.

What ever you want to stick in yourself man, you have to live with it. I'm sure you can live a healthy and satisfying life on Doritos seeing as diet has absolutely nothing to do with your sense of well being.

Not at all! =)

Professional arborist for 16 years specializing in climbing, rigging and trimming. My job is life and death physics with little to no room for error, for several sustained hours most days of the week. I co-own the business with my wife and I run a 3-5 person crew. If I'm not playing human wrecking ball in the trees, I'm stuffing a chipper that will eat a 10 inch log just as soon as it would eat me.

Tree work switches place with commercial fishing from time to time as the job most likely to kill you based on fatalities per year.

I do some rock and wood carving on the side for fun.

To pretend, now...after all the time you've spent telling us what various mytholgies really meant...and the details of your little midnight flight - across many threads....that you were unfamiliar with the narratives you've been parroting is yet another thing I find difficult to believe.

This is what you posted......page 1, post 2.......

Quote:If this rain-forest-like choir of living organisms is the background state of your mental experience, then no amount of self help, drugs, therapy etc will ever affect the root cause of depression, which is the crap diet most people "live" on and the hard core scavengers and predators in their gut that eek out an existence on refined sugars and nutrient-less process garbage full of chemical preservatives.
..either you were misrepresenting -yourself- then..or you are misrepresenting -yourself- now.  Either way, you can probably leave me out of that, huh?

Can't access it. It says you need to subscribe and I'm not gonna pay for that. Can you write a brief description? Sorry if you already have, I'm still on the first page of this thread.

Okay...so you're NOT a dietitian then? Because, I can see how a layperson may be confused considering how you've posted about the subject in this thread.

Please, only dispense nutritional recommendations once you have completed the required education and professional training to do so. Otherwise, I'm going to start telling people how to cut down trees and you, as the professional, can let me know what you think about me doing that. Yeah?

[emoji57]

Also...I like your tree carving; it's pretty awesome.

Not only is he not a dietitian, he's not a psychiatrist/psychologist, either. That's the M.O. of your typical woo-peddler, though. Claims to have knowledge outside of the mainstream, has no qualifications to back it up. It'd be funny if it wasn't dangerous.

For a good laugh, the next time I see my psychiatrist, I'm going to tell her that I found out on the internet that my problem the whole time has been that I haven't been eating correctly and watch her laugh in my face.
