What a sad story. I felt for his mom who was speaking this week about it. She was in tears and so were family members that were standing behind her, even 27 years after Jacob disappeared. I don't think the pain of losing a child ever goes away.

Very sad indeed.  I was living in Minnesota when that happened, and I still remember well.  I hope someday Patty and Jerry Wetterling can take a certain amount solace that their advocacy made all children safer.
