Though obviously there was more to him than merely this, if you get the chance to watch 'Mongol' I would recommend it, even if does gloss over a lot of what happened.

At least Genghis Khan, Pol Pot and Idi Amin didn't bother torturing you after you were dead.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

The best thing about being tortured after you're dead is the fact you wake up afterwards and upon recovering from the nightmare think to yourself "I really mustn't eat so much cheddar before bed time. Because old wives' tales are reality."

as long as torture does not = eating, in the case of Amin, or should I check Snopes on that bit of arcana?
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
